Are you persuaded? |
|
This was the question from the last two weeks. As we have studied God's truth about His love for us, as we have realized just how powerful and freeing His love is for us, we can come to the conclusion. What is that conclusion? |
|
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 hWho is he that condemneth? It is Christ that idied, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor tpowers, nor things wpresent, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31–39 |

I want to clarify. This may be the "conclusion" in perspective of our eternity and that nothing can separate us from the love of God. However, this truth affects our daily life! When we get up in the morning, we know He loves us. When we navigate a good or bad day, we know He loves us. When we lay our heads down to sleep at night, we know He loves us! What an awesome and mighty God we serve. So, today, serve Him! Do not let anything get in the way of living in the truth and power of God's love. The enemy will accuse and deceive you. Let us not forget who died for us. Let us not forget that we are covered by the blood of Jesus. |

So, are you persuaded? |

I love you Cedar Grove. I look forward to gathering with you soon if the Lord tarries. Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye. |
