Good morning church family.

Yesterday was a great day of fellowship, testimony, baptism, worship and the Word. This morning I want to remind you of the address I made to the church during service.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:25-27

6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:6-7

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:10-20

It’s not time to sit back. It’s not time to be timid. It’s also not time to take it to the streets with anything but the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We don’t need a political war, we need revival. We don’t need protests we need the church to boldly profess. We don’t need to be fearful and afraid, we need to trust the One who knows what’s going on even when we do not. When Jesus spoke to the disciples in John 14, none of them had any idea most of them would die for their faith. Church, are we willing to truly stand up for our walk with the Lord? Has this affected you in any way? If not, could it be that you feel safe in your closet Christianity? No one cares about your faith because no one knows about your faith. There will be no awakening until the church wakes up and stops living in the shadow and safety of the church building. The Bible tells us we will be hated. There is no middle ground. The day is coming and may just be here where believers are going to have to choose. Cowardice or courage for our Lord. I pray we choose courage.

I love you Cedar Grove. I pray for your protection and provision. I pray for your boldness and courage. Do not be afraid or timid. We serve the God of the universe. We serve the Alpha and Omega. We serve the One who holds the whole world in His hands. He cares for you. He has a plan for you. He sent His son to die for you. Live for Him. No matter the cost.

Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
