Good morning Cedar Grove Family!

This past weekend was full of great fellowship, worship and the Word. This morning I want to encourage you to not take the church for granted. We get so busy doing life on this earth that often we neglect what's eternal. God designed you and I for Christian fellowship. If you haven't already done so, get plugged in. If there's something in your life that would prevent you from plugging all the way in, remove it or adjust! I promise living for Jesus is better and more effective together.

I also want to remind you of a few things. We live in a world of unknowns. We know so much, yet we have no idea was true and what's deception. AI has even more so advanced this culture in our society. We better hold on to that which is true. Allow me to remind you of some things that we know:

  • God purposed from the beginning for those who receive Jesus to be like Christ.

  • He did this through sending His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and be risen to life three days later.

  • His Holy Spirit right now through the preaching of the Gospel is drawing the lost to Him.

  • Romans 10:9–10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

  • Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

and let me add a bonus one this morning...

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

I pray this encourages you to keep going this week. Rest in what you know. It's good! I love you Cedar Grove and look forward to seeing you again soon! Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
