Happy Monday! |
Well, He did it again yesterday. I don't know why we would expect anything less from an all-abundant, all-powerful, all-knowing God. Yet, so often we allow our situations to distract us from His goodness. If you ever wonder why God designed the church to gather together in unity, I pray yesterday reminded you. |
I am in awe of what God is doing. People are getting right with Him, and I love every bit of it. I want to encourage those of you who feel as though God is not working in your own life. Maybe your marriage is not hitting any strides. Maybe your kids are still revolting. Maybe your health is not improving. Maybe your finances are still suffocating you. God is at work even when we do not see it. He is active in every part of our life. Our sin, our lack of gratitude, our focus on earthly things can often keep us from seeing His Hand in our lives. Let this not be so today. May we not allow our circumstances to dictate our obedience. |
May I remind you of a portion of the sermon yesterday. |
Allow me to out a little side not here… if you are waiting for a perfect situation to be used by God, you may just live your life ineffectively waiting. Well, when I get that job… when I pay off that debt… when I get that house… when I retire… when my kids get more established… |
There will always be something that can hinder your walk. Always. If we allow it. |
Do not grow weary in doing good Cedar Grove! Do not give up! We are reaping a harvest and blessing that has long been prayed for a worked for. I love you church. I cannot wait to meet with you again. Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye. |
