Good morning church family! |
|
Once again, what a joy it was to be gathered together in Jesus name. We had many guests yesterday so I challenge you to reach out if you were able to connect. All of us at one time was just that... a guest. |

Today, how can you use your members for righteousness? Let's be resolved to use our mouth for proclaiming and sharing the good news that Jesus is alive and He saves! Let's use our hands to give out of a cheerful and generous heart. Let's use our feet to go and help those who need it. Let's use our ears to listen, and when we hear of a need let's fill it. Let's use our hearts and minds to look at others with compassion. This may seem dramatic and out of the ordinary. May I remind you that wasn't the case for the saints of old. That was the norm. Today, because we live in such a lost and dying world, to be "normal" in a biblical sense is to be out of the norm in a worldly sense. Sign me up! Allow me to remind you just of what we are talking about. |

41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. 42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; 45 and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. 46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:41-47 |

Wow! church, we can still live within these beautiful practices of the first church. We can still live selflessly so to help others and see people saved. Will you be a part of this today? |
