Happy Monday morning!

Since it has been a while, I want to explain why I decided to title these emails "Monday Mourning" rather than Monday Morning. This is not a typo!

So often, our Sunday celebrations of Jesus leave us in awe of how good God is. From the fellowship and love we have for each other, the Spirit -filled worship, and the infallible Word of God preached, Sundays are an amazing day! We get challenged in our faith and encouraged to continue in it. It is as if God planned for us to gather like this... which He did. All this is awesome and my favorite part of the week.

And then comes Monday. Whether it's waking up for work or getting the kids ready for school, something strange happens. It seems like so often we forget the celebration and awesomeness of the previous day. Our routines kick back in and our schedules overwhelm us again. The grind to "make it" through there week starts over. In the process of this occurring, it is easy to neglect the eternal truths we learned. It is easy to put Bible study on the back burner. It is easy to forget the Biblical principles from Sunday. This is the most dangerous place for a believer to be. Let this not be so for you today. Remember that we have been grafted into the tree! We are able to partake in the long standing faith of those who have gone before us. We are able to enjoy the fatness of the olive, that is, the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Thank Him for this today! Live within this truth today!

Let's stay humble Cedar Grove. I love you and am thankful to be you pastor. I look forward to gathering with you again. Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-Bye.
