Happy Thanksgiving!

This week there will hopefully be much family time and gratitude. I know the holidays can be bittersweet to many, but I pray we count our blessings one by one! God's will for our life is for us to give thanks in everything.

Yesterday, we gathered together in Jesus name. We are beginning to hit attendance that seemed out of reach not long ago. Our children's classes are past capacity. The pews are full with few seats available. Last night's Thanksgiving meal hosted over 130 of our church family. It doesn't take much thinking to realize that we are at a transition period in our church. We need space. We are limited on how we can adjust our facilities to gain that space in an affordable manner. However, we serve a limitless God. All I am asking is that you as part of the Cedar Grove family begin to pray for your church and leadership to make the right decisions moving forward. I love how we explain the space problems in church. "It's a good problem to have!" Yes, but only if it is a problem we plan to solve! This is going to take a unified spirit and effort from all of us to achieve. So, let's get it done! Change is hard, but unless we are willing to make certain changes we may not reach the people we should be capable of reaching.

I love you Cedar Grove and I am thankful that I am your pastor. There's not a church I would rather lead regardless of the hurdles we have and will face together. Have a good week. Get rest. Enjoy family. Eat good food. I'll see you Sunday! Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
