What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see. When I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the promised land. What a day, glorious day, that will be.

Good Morning Church!

Yesterday, hands went up all over the house. These hands represented somebody struggling. They represented somebody going through a trial, tribulation, difficult situation or tough circumstance. They represented how life as a believer in this fallen world really is… hard. This is what Paul was taking about in Romans 7:14

“For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬

Paul declared that he understood and was experiencing in that very moment the battle that rages between our flesh and the Spirit. Today, fight this spiritual battle victoriously. Fight it God’s way. Do not lean on your own understanding, but rather trust in Him! We are fighting from victory, not for victory. So fight! Fight this battle through the Holy Spirit. Walk with Him. Live for Him. Trust Him.

I want to clarify some of the news I gave yesterday. Hopefully you took the job descriptions home with you to look over. If not, please grab one at midweek of this coming Sunday. This will be voted on at the August 31st business meeting. We want everyone to be aware of what is going on! The positions will be filled as followed:

Church Secretary- Kathy McCoy

Church Treasurer- Tammy Thomas

Ministers of Worship- Mike and Robyn Silovich

These are exciting times of growth. We could not grow as we are in staff without your faithfulness. Thank you. If you have questions please come to me so we can make sure everything is understood properly! I love you Cedar Grove. I look forward to seeing you soon! Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
