Well...He did it again!

What a beautiful day of gathering yesterday. Let's not take it for granted that people from our community are seeking what God is doing at our local church. This cannot create in us a spirit of pride, but rather humility. We are simply being obedient to His Word. I cannot even fathom what would happen if we went out each week and truly were devoted to the sharing of the Gospel! Let's see it through.

This morning may I encourage you to live today with the right kind of persistence. Do not give up. Do not lose heart. Do not be discouraged. He will reward the work that is being done through you. Our job is to keep working! Our job is to keep asking! A faithful servant does his job and allows the master to handle the greater details. God is doing that at Cedar Grove, and I am thankful.

rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,... Romans 12:12

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, awhile we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Galatians 6:9-10

I want to brag on our men for a moment. Last night at our EVERY MAN Discipleship, we had 45 men gather together to intentionally seek the Lord. This was a special night. It exceeded all of our expectations. The best part is that we have four more weeks! If you are reading this and you were not there, I pray you consider joining us this coming Sunday. I can say with confidence you will not regret coming.

I love you Cedar Grove, and I look forward to gathering with you this Midweek at 6:30. Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
