Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can focus on faith, friendships, and activities without distractions. We ask all Students and leaders to dress modestly, appropriately, and respectfully.
General Guidelines
- Clothing should be suitable for Youth Ministries activities.
- Clothing may not display profanity, inappropriate images, sexual content, violence, alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or drugs.
- Undergarments should not be visible.
Shirts and Tops
- Shirts must fully cover the chest, back, and stomach.
- No crop tops, tube tops, halter tops, or excessively low-cut shirts.
- Tank tops are permitted if straps are at least 2 inches wide.
- Midriffs should remain covered during all activities.
Shorts, Pants, and Skirts
- Shorts should be at least mid-thigh length.
- Pants and shorts should fit appropriately and not sag.
- Leggings, athletic tights, and similar clothing should be worn with a shirt or shorts that provide adequate coverage.
- Skirts and dresses should be an appropriate length for participation in physical activity.
Swimwear
There will be serval occasions throughout the year where we will have a chance to swim or participate in water activities. During these activities all students male and female must wear t-shirt (not white) and shorts while swimming this is non-negotiable. Swim or rash guards are acceptable.
If Clothing Does Not Meet the Dress Code
Youth leaders will address concerns privately and respectfully. Students may be asked to change into different clothing that we have on hand before participating in activities.
Good rule to follow, if you have to ask “is this appropriate for church” it might not be.
